Terms of Service: Adopts

Purchasing

  1. For Paypal payments, please wait to pay until I send you an invoice!

  2. I will not give out your name/Paypal address to anyone.

  3. You must send the full payment before I give you the reference and anything that comes with the adopt.


You may:

  1. Change the gender, unless stated otherwise.

  2. Change the color palette, unless stated otherwise.

  3. Modify the design slightly.

  4. Re-upload the reference with proper credit.

  5. Trade it. Please notify me if you do this.

  6. Re-sell it for what you paid or less. Please notify me if you do this.

  7. Request the adopt to be put on hold. I will hold it for a week at most.

  8. Request that I extend the time given for making a payment. I am very lenient, so I will usually allow extensions.

  9. Disregard species information/lore for my original species.


You may not:

  1. Trace them.

  2. Claim the original design as your own work.

  3. Copy/reference my designs for your own characters.

  4. Retract a bid without good reason. [Even not having money is good enough reason for me, so no worries.]

  5. Use these for commercial use. These are personal use characters.


Notes

  1. Credit me at least once for the design.

  2. Make your payment within 48 hours of winning the adopt.

  3. If you do not pay within 48 hours, it will (Auction) go to the next highest bidder or (Set Price) be re-opened for sale.

  4. Once you have received the adopt, you are free to do what you want with it, as long as it is within the terms.

Terms of Service: Commissions

Purchasing

  1. For Paypal payments, please wait to pay until I send you an invoice!

  2. I will not give out your name/Paypal address to anyone.

  3. You must send payment before I begin.

  4. You are allowed to request to send half-payment up front and the other half after I am done. You will not receive your art until I receive the other half.


Refunds

  1. Full Payment: You are allowed a refund if I have not started on your commission.

  2. Half Payment: You are allowed a refund even if I have started on your commission.

  3. You are not allowed a refund after I have finished your art.


Ordering

  1. Please fill out the given Order Form!

  2. Proper art references only! Slightly messy is OK, but it must have flat color/a palette and a clear reference. Please note that I do not accept Gaia avatars as references anymore!

  3. No word description references please. [Exceptions: Custom Adopts]

  4. Usually first-come, first-serve.


Received Art

  1. You may re-upload your commission with proper credit.

  2. You may use it as page/website decoration with proper credit.

  3. If you do not credit me, I will ask you to take it down.

  4. Do not claim it as your own work if you use it.

  5. Do not use your art for any sort of commercial use, i.e. posters, keychains, merchandise, etc. These are private use commissions.

  6. You may make minor edits to the art. This does not include copying/tracing/making major edits.
